For the Town of Geneva
Rates and Supply Options
rates are in $/kWh
The Town of Geneva’s Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) contract for electricity supply will end on December 31, 2024, as expected. Upon expiration of the CCA contract, participating residents will be automatically returned to NYSEG for their electricity supply.
In advance of the CCA contract expiration the Town tried to get comparable or better pricing to continue the CCA offering. Through this process the Town learned that currently, the best prices for electricity supply available to residents are from NYSEG. Although this is currently true, the Town will try again soon to see if changing market conditions allow us to contract again for a beneficial CCA offering in the future.
Town-wide announcements and education will occur in advance of a future electricity supply contract.
